Research Projects
The Research Committee of the International SITE Foundation is currently involved in the following areas of research:

  • The establishment of partnerships with organizations similar to the ISITE Foundation and dealing in specific areas of research that affect the incentive travel model;
  • The development of a database of relevant secondary research in the area of incentive travel;
  • Examination of topics for outcome-oriented research that address the defined needs of SITE members as requested by them.

In the area of education, the International SITE Foundation offers the David Riddell Scholarship in honor of the late David Riddell of Marriott Corporation and a past president of the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE). The scholarship provides an opportunity for qualified individuals to apply for a US$3,000 award for one International Conference (IC) including registration, economy class airfare, lodging, a meal allowance and transfers. Further information and application for the David Riddell Scholarship may be made through SITE Chapters worldwide.

The International SITE Foundation is pleased to announce the first recipient of the David Riddell Memorial Scholarship --- Aniko Takacs from Budapest, Hungary.  She created a white paper on Incentive Travel as a Motivational Tool – How Businesses and Individuals Benefit.
